Update

I wanted to let people know where we are at with things right now as far as going to Ireland. Currently we:

1. Have our house in Fort Wayne for sale.
2. Need to get passports
3. Need to figure out how we are going to get into the country
We are currently praying for Nick to get a job if it is possible or maybe student visa.
4. Need to raise enough money to live there.

These are the biggies, so as you can see we are not very far along, but we are trying and the important thing to remmember is that God is in control and he will set things in motion that we cannot even imagine.

The straight and narrow?

I have to laugh when I think about these words as it pertains to following. I have found that following God is anything but straight and narrow. It sometimes feels like I'm in the middle of a Rube-Goldberg machine. A hundred seemingly unrelated experiences being brought together to crack an egg. And yes I feel like the cracked egg a lot of the time. I'm thankful that God brings us through so many twists and turns. I find it impossible to attribute some of the outrageous things that have happened in my life to nothing other than God, just from the absurdity of how it all worked out.

It feels like our moving to Ireland will be the ultimate so far. And yet it is such a small thing for the Lord. All we know how to do is take steps toward how we feel God wants us to go, pray, redirect, pray, and continue on.
